ABOUT

For the last 15 years, I have led and conducted qualitative research projects that investigate and respond to challenges in healthcare service delivery in varied environments, with an emphasis on traumatic injury and transitions from acute to maintenance care. Taking an applied lens has honed my skills in generating, interpreting, and communicating data - both qualitative and quantitative - to stakeholders in government, academia, and the biomedical sciences. Over the course of my career, I have authored more than 20 publications, given dozens of talks, and advised and managed hundreds of students and research assistants. I have led academic and government programming, and been awarded numerous government and university grants and fellowships. My goal in transitioning to industry is to bring my expertise in mixed methodology approaches to improved research conceptualization, design, and execution, enabling a user-centered approach in strategic business development, and thus better respond to, and design for, users and key stakeholders.
